TIPS FOR AN ENJOYABLE VISIT

Please allow approximately 60 minutes
for your guided tour of the Farnsworth
House.
•
Comfortable walking shoes and weather
appropriate attire is highly
recommended.
•
The tour begins at the Visitor Center
which
is about a
quarter of a mile from
the Farnsworth House.
•
Guests will be asked to
remove their
shoes to enter the house in order to
protect the flooring.

No food,
beverages, backpacks, or large bags are allowed in the house. The
Visitor Center does not offer any food service facilities.
However, a
variety of dining options are available in nearby
Plano or picnic facilities
are available across the
river at Silver Springs State Park. |

GIFT SHOP
We offer an eclectic collection of books, gifts, and other items in
the Visitor Center gift shop. Please allow adequate time for shopping. |

to the Farnsworth House twice a month, May though October. For more
